Batman x Oreo
Challenge
To launch the global partnership of Oreo x The Batman in the UK to drive trial and engagement of the collaboration. Spanning over the course of 3 days, we were to bring to life both brands through an immersive experience in partnership with various agencies. Tapping into the playfulness of Oreo and the dark world of Batman, we helped create a ‘who-done-it’ type of challenge for all our guests.
Solution
To create a new world, we transformed multiple areas of a venue, including the Box Office, Cafe, Foyer, and upstairs circle space, into a cohesive and immersive theatrical environment. This environment needed to incorporate a playful “OREO crime scene” theme that aligns with OREO’s tone and colors while also drawing inspiration from The Batman without directly replicating it. To enhance the thematic design and dressing, mood lighting and audio was orchestrated throughout the space to really showcase the new world. Additionally, the sets were all made to be suitable for actors and staff who were performing all 3 days.
Impact
We witnessed over 1,300 attendees across 9 viewings over the course of 3 days! We successfully transformed the cinema into an engaging and immersive experience that captivated the audience. The thematic design and playful tone resonated well with OREO’s and The Batmans branding, providing a memorable experience without feeling overly commercial.
