Asahi Momentum Mirrored
Challenge
We were tasked to create and design a branded immersive space for Asahi that can easily be transported to various festivals and events across the UK, where guests can get lost in a different world for a moment. During this time Asahi were also hosting an art competition for UAL students and the winning students were to have their visuals displayed in this immersive space in some form.
Solution
To achieve all elements of the brief we converted a shipping container into an immersive maze and infinity room for Asahi by utilising LED screens and high-quality mirrors to create an endless visual experience, amplified by a range of eclectic music like techno, EDM, and Drum’n’Bass. Guests were taken on an immersive journey with creative and impactful lighting guiding them through the experience. Asahi logo and branding were peppered throughout the activation and elevated through strategically positioned mirrors, enhancing the infinity effect and making the space appear larger than it actually was. To showcase the winners artwork, we had LED screens fixed on the facade which rotated the final pieces along with more details about the competition and its winners.
Impact
Festival goers and event attendees were taken through an immersive journey where they were able to tune out the outside world through engaging in experiences that heightened their sense of sight and hearing. The brightly lit facade with strong brand visuals and identity drew people in from afar, ensuring a solid footfall throughout the activation. The rotation of digital artwork fostered a sense of community where proud winners bought their friends and family but also provided a platform for emerging artist to gain exposure. The portable nature of the shipping container allowed us and Asahi to easily transport and set up the infinity room at various festivals and events, ensuring smooth setup pre and post events. This also left Asahi with a reusable asset for any future events in the coming years!
